This is the fourth consecutive year that the company has invested more than 100 million yuan in technological transformation.

       “Guxiandao” is located in Doumen Street, Yuecheng District, and has become the world's largest producer of polyester industrial yarn. "Last year, the company achieved sales of 8.3 billion yuan. The goal this year is to achieve sales exceeding 10 billion yuan. The realization of this goal cannot be separated from the support of technical reform." Sun Guolin revealed that at present, the company's orders have been placed in June, and the sales value is expected to be available. Up to 4.5 billion yuan.

       All along, "Guxiandao" attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation, "the technology and industrialization of liquid-phase viscous direct-spinning polyester industrial filament", won the second prize of national technology invention in 2016. This project, which took four or five years and invested more than 200 million yuan in research and development, has greatly increased the sales revenue of “Guxiandao”. In 2019, “Guxiandao” will upgrade this “liquid phase viscosity-increasing” technology to further shorten the polyester industrial yarn production process and improve product quality. According to reports, the production of polyester industrial yarn by traditional technology requires 40 hours of solid phase viscosity increase per ton; while the new technology developed by "Guxiandao" can be shortened to 10 hours and the cost is more than 350 yuan / ton. "This year, we will continue to make technical changes, compressing the production time of liquid phase thickening technology to less than 4 hours, and reducing energy consumption by more than 30%." Sun Guolin said.

       In addition, "Guxiandao" will also upgrade some of the old equipment to expand the production of functional fibers to flame retardant fibers, corrosion-resistant fibers, UV-resistant fibers and other fields. At the same time, for the shortcomings of the company's products, which are more traditional and more traditional, we have stepped up research and development of functional polyester industrial silk products and enriched the product range.

       This year, “Guxiandao” will also focus on the development of various types of fiber protection nets in the fields of highways, hillsides and bridge construction, and realize the transformation from production raw materials to finished products. The R&D manager will tell the reporter that “this year’s growth is focused on the highway protection network series. At present, there is nearly 20 billion yuan in this market, but few domestic companies are involved. Once the new product development is successful, it will be put into the market. A year will generate a profit of 20 million yuan, helping to achieve the goal of 10 billion sales."

       Technological innovation cannot be separated from talent support. In addition to investing 100 million yuan for technical transformation, this year's "Guxiandao" will continue to invest 10 million yuan for talent recruitment and cooperation with universities. At present, the company has a high-end technology development team of more than 20 people. At the same time, it has also cooperated with seven universities in and outside the province, including Sun Yat-sen University, Zhejiang University and Zhejiang University of Science and Technology.
