Zhejiang Guxiandao Industrial Fiber Co., Ltd is a joint venture set up in June, 2003, a national high-tech enterprise, the registered capital of which is RMB 480 million Yuan. The company specializes in the production and sales of modified polyester chips and differential polyester filaments. The products are widely applied in the auto industry, construction engineering, packaging, leisure and sports, and protective facilities.
Located in the national economic and technological development zone, Paojiang Industrial Zone in Shaoxing City, the company consists of three wholly owned subsidiary companies, namely Zhejiang Guxiandao Green Fiber Co., Ltd, Shaoxing Mingcheng Transportation Co., Ltd and Yingtian Trade Co., Ltd located in Ningbo Meishan Bonded Area. The company covers an area of 800 Mus (1 Mu = 666.7m2), with a total floor area of over 200,000 m2. In 2011, the total company assets is RMB 4.8 billion Yuan, with a sales turnover of more than RMB 4.3 billion Yuan, including the foreign exchanges earned through export of US$ 160 Million, and taxes on net profits of nearly RMB 200 million Yuan.

Guixiandao is always devoted to technical innovation and the development of new products. The newly developed super-low shrinkage polyester industrial yarn, high-tenacity colored polyester industrial yarn, nano-modified flame retardant polyester chips, and irregular flat high-tenacity polyester industrial yarn have filed national patent applications and have been granted 7 patents, and a number of them have been listed as provincial and ministerial key R&D project, national Torch Plan project, and national key new products, just to name a few. Guxiandao owns the proprietary IPRs with respect to the liquid-phase tackifying fusant direct spinning technology, which helps to cut down drastically the energy consumption required during production and reduces carbon emission accordingly. This technology won the “11th Five-year Plan” Technical Breakthrough Prize in China Chemical Fiber Industry and has been applied to the new project. As the first project using this technology in this world, it is expected to upgrade our market competitiveness to a new level. While enhancing scientific investments, the company is making preparations for entering the capital market, establishing standardized and sound company management structure and modern enterprise system, which could lay a solid foundation for the company’s sustainable and long-term development.
With the state-of-art technologies and globally advanced equipment introduced from EU, the plant has been built to produce annually 240,000 tons of modified polyester chips and 280,000 tons of differential polyester filaments. The products are exported to 50 countries and regions, such as USA, Canada, Germany and Saudi Arabia and it has an increased market share in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, etc. It is extensively recognized and highly spoken of among the users. The domestic market share of the company’s main product, polyester filament, has reached 22%, the export of which is over 60%. The products have been widely recognized and praised by users at home and abroad.
